• Four-Day Regime (for persistent flukes): A four-day regime of one full dose followed by two half doses on consecutive days is recommended for stubborn or heavy Skin/Gill Fluke infestations.

Preparation and Dosing Instructions

1. Pre-Treatment: If the mucus layer is excessive, consider dosing with Chloramine T (15g per 1,000 gallons) 12-24 hours before using Fluke S to assist in reducing the mucus membrane. Caution: Check pH and KH as Chloramine T can be toxic in soft water.
2. Dissolve: Measure the correct dose and dissolve it thoroughly in a container using hot water.
3. Cool and Add: Allow the mixture to cool completely. Continue to mix while slowly adding the solution to the pond return over a one-hour period.
4. Filter Off: Switch the UV steriliser, carbon filter, and protein skimmer off until the treatment is complete (minimum of three days). For best results, use above 15°C.

Important Safety Warnings

• DO NOT OVERDOSE: Overdosing can cause fish fatalities. Ensure accurate volume measurement.
• No Salt: WARNING: Do not use Kusuri Fluke S in conjunction with salt.
• Do Not Combine: Do not use Kusuri Acriflavine 1.5% or Malachite Green 0.7% within a one-month period of using any Praziquantel (Fluke S) or Flubendazole (Fluke M) based product, as this can cause fish fatalities.
• Scrape Recommended: We recommend a mucus scrape and microscope identification prior to application to ensure you have flukes and are using the correct medication.
