Kusuri Fluke M Flubendazole powder offers powerful and proven treatment for external parasites. It contains 50mg of Flubendazole, a medication known for effectively eradicating Gill Flukes (Dactylogyrus) and Body Flukes (Gyrodactylus). This product is essential for maintaining the health of your koi and ornamental pond fish.

The active ingredient, Flubendazole, is absorbed directly by the flukes. It then dissolves their digestive tracts, starving the parasite and ensuring its complete elimination from the pond environment. This non-invasive method is much safer than older, more toxic medications, such as Malachite Green and Formalin. Using Kusuri Fluke M helps prevent the serious damage and secondary infections caused by fluke infestations.

Simple and Flexible Dosage Options

• One-Off Treatment: Fluke M is designed as a single-dose treatment. For very heavy or persistent infestations, a second dose may be required after 7 days. We recommend a mucus scrape to confirm parasite presence before re-dosing.
• Multiple Sizes: Available in 65g (treats 5,500 gallons / 24,750 litres) and 130g (treats 11,000 gallons / 49,500 litres), making it suitable for small, medium, and large pond systems.

Dosage and Preparation Instructions

The recommended dosage is 11.8g per 1,000 gallons (4,546 litres) of pond water.

1. Shake the contents of the sachet well before use.
2. Measure the correct dose.
3. Dissolve the powder in a container using hot (or boiling) water.
4. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
5. Add the cooled solution slowly to the return of the pond, over a one-hour period.
6. Turn off the UV steriliser for a minimum of 7 days following the treatment.

Important Safety Warnings

• Consult pH/KH: If using Chloramine T beforehand to reduce excessive mucus (recommended in heavy infestations), ensure you check your pH and KH. Chloramine T can be toxic in soft water pH 7 and GH 6dH.
• Do Not Combine: WARNING: Do not use Kusuri Acriflavine 1.5% or Malachite Green 0.7% within a one-month period of using any Flubendazole (Fluke M) or Praziquantel-based product (Fluke P or Fluke S). This can cause fish fatalities.
• Exclusions: Do not use with Sting Rays or certain tropical fish species. Fluke M is safe for coldwater ornamental fish.
• Storage: Store between 12°C and 25°C and use within 3 months of opening.
