Professional Koi Measuring Tanks for Growth Tracking

High-quality Koi Measuring Tanks are an essential tool for any keeper who wants to monitor the development and health of their fish accurately. Whether you are tracking the growth of a young Tosai or recording the dimensions of a jumbo koi, having a dedicated tank makes the process safe and stress-free. We supply a range of durable, blue-pigmented tanks that feature integrated measurement scales for instant size assessment. Consequently, they are the preferred choice for breeders and hobbyists alike.

Why Use Dedicated Koi Measuring Tanks?

Accurate measurement is nearly impossible when a fish is moving in a large pond or round bowl. However, by using our Koi Measuring Tanks, you provide a confined, rectangular space that naturally aligns the fish against the measuring scale. Furthermore, the vibrant blue background provides excellent contrast. This makes it much easier to inspect the fish for parasites, ulcers, or fin damage. As a result, these tanks double as highly effective inspection and treatment stations.

• Durable Construction: Available in heavy-duty plastic or reinforced polyester to ensure years of reliable service.
• Integrated Scale: Features clear, easy-to-read markings (measured from the top) for precise record-keeping.
• Safe for Fish: The smooth internal surfaces protect the delicate mucus layer and scales of your koi during handling.

Handling and Safety Advice from Leeds Koi

When using Koi Measuring Tanks, always ensure the tank is placed on a flat, stable surface. It is vital to use water from the pond to prevent temperature or pH shock. In addition, because koi can become startled in a new environment, we strongly recommend using an elasticated mesh cover to prevent them from jumping out. For larger fish, adding a small amount of koi sedative to the water can help keep them calm, ensuring a more accurate measurement and reducing the risk of injury.

At Leeds Koi, we stock a wide variety of handling equipment to suit every budget. From our 80cm Superfish tanks to our 115cm professional budget polyester models, our Koi Measuring Tanks deliver the quality you need to manage your collection professionally. Because we prioritize the safety of your fish, we offer Fast UK Dispatch on all in-stock items. Order today and start keeping a professional record of your koi’s growth and progress.

Measurements for these tanks are typically taken from the top, so the bottom internal measurement will be slightly shorter (e.g., a 115cm tank usually has a 100cm internal base).

Professional Koi Round Inspection Bowls for Health and Viewing

Our Koi Round Inspection Bowls are an essential piece of equipment for every serious koi keeper. Whether you are performing a routine health check, treating a specific ailment, or simply photographing your favorite fish, a high-quality bowl is a necessity. We manufacture these bowls from heavy-duty, blue-pigmented plastic. Consequently, the vibrant blue background makes the red, white, and black patterns of your koi stand out clearly, allowing for more accurate inspections.

Benefits of Using Koi Round Inspection Bowls

Accurate diagnosis is the first step in successful fish health management. Viewing your fish from the surface of a pond often hides issues below the lateral line. However, by using our Koi Round Inspection Bowls, you can bring the fish to the surface for a closer look at the fins, gills, and scales. Furthermore, the smooth internal surface ensures that the fish’s delicate mucus layer remains intact during handling. As a result, your koi experience much less stress during the examination process.

• Durable Construction: Made from tough, UV-resistant plastic that won’t crack or degrade in outdoor environments.
• Enhanced Visibility: The specific blue hue is designed to highlight imperfections, parasites, or ulcers that might be missed in darker pond water.
• Versatile Range: Available in multiple diameters and depths to accommodate everything from small tosai to large adult koi.

Safe Handling and Treatment Tips

When using your new bowl, always ensure it is placed on a flat, level surface to prevent tipping. It is also good practice to fill the bowl with water from the pond to avoid temperature shock. In addition, these Koi Round Inspection Bowls are perfect for short-term salt baths or topical treatments. If you are keeping a fish in the bowl for more than a few minutes, we highly recommend adding a portable air stone to maintain high oxygen levels.

At Leeds Koi & Pond Centre, we pride ourselves on providing the same professional-grade gear used by breeders and show judges. Every one of our Koi Round Inspection Bowls is built for longevity and fish safety. Because we know that health issues can arise unexpectedly, we offer Fast UK Dispatch on all handling equipment. Order today to ensure you are fully prepared to care for your koi when they need you most.

Durable Flexible Koi Pond Bowls for Isolation and Treatment

Our Flexible Koi Pond Bowls are a must-have for any koi keeper who requires a portable, space-saving solution for fish handling. These collapsible vats are manufactured from a high-quality, blue waterproof fabric that is both strong and fish-safe. Whether you need to observe a fish for wounds, perform a topical treatment, or take high-quality photography, these bowls provide a professional environment that can be set up in seconds. Consequently, they are a favorite among hobbyists with limited storage space.

Why Choose Flexible Koi Pond Bowls?

Standard plastic bowls can be bulky and difficult to store. However, by using our Flexible Koi Pond Bowls, you benefit from a reinforced rim design that provides stability while remaining completely collapsible. Furthermore, each bowl comes equipped with a sewn-in fine mesh zipped cover. This is a critical safety feature that prevents koi from jumping out during inspection. As a result, the risk of injury to your fish is significantly reduced compared to open-topped rigid bowls.

• Space Saving Design: Easily folds away into its own 10-inch diameter carry bag when not in use.
• Multiple Sizes Available: Choose from 90cm, 120cm, or 180cm diameters to suit your specific koi collection.
• Complete Kit: Every one of our Flexible Koi Pond Bowls includes the zipped safety cover and a dedicated storage bag.

Maintenance and Safety Tips from Leeds Koi

To ensure the longevity of your equipment, always wipe the inner surface clean and dry it thoroughly before folding it back into the bag. This prevents the buildup of bacteria or mold between uses. In addition, these vats are designed for temporary holding only and are not intended for long-term filtration setups. Always use pond water to fill the bowl to avoid temperature shock. Regularly inspecting the zipped cover ensures your Flexible Koi Pond Bowls remain a secure environment for your fish during every health check.

At Leeds Koi, we understand the importance of having the right gear ready for emergencies. From salt baths to growth measurements, our collapsible vats offer the versatility you need. Because we prioritize the health of your koi, we offer Fast UK Dispatch on all sizes. Order your bowl today and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with professional-grade handling equipment.
